"LIGHT exerts an hypnotic effect on me. And for sure, on the first humans. Can you imagine their faces when taking consciousness of the Sun or making Fire for the firts time? All of these, are examples of LIGHT.

In this serie, I am interested in exploring the way Light transforms Colors and Materials. The magical effet of Light when it comes across with a painted-non-painted material, how it is reflected, how it passes through and how it is absorbed!!

I decided to use Artesanal Paper as a material to paint on, because as a fragil, translucent fabric, together with the conterpoints of its fibers creates a texture in which paper is not longer the background but an integral part of the piece in consonant with the emotional quality of the painting."
